7-bolt REbuild kit

OK so I am looking for a good rebuild kit, reliable, but still able to hold a lot of horsepower. Its a 7 bolt, and so far I have eliminated topline parts. I can put together my own rebuild kit, but prices will probably be much higher. IS there a good rebuild kit out there capable of holding 500 ish hp. I have found a jdm rebuild kit, any reviews on this? Thanks I just want to make sure i do the rebuild right the first time.

For 500hp your going to need forged internals.

^2nd that and I would suggest on just getting quality machine work done and buying brand name parts, ie eagle, arp, and manley. Stay away from ebay please.

well yes I have taken that into consideration, but i dont have any supporting mods on the car right now. I am getting eagle rods for sure, however I have read that getting forged internals, they usually need to be replaced after a couple of years. I dont want to jump that high right away. I want to get all teh supporting mods first. Of course i will go with ARP everything.

For 500hp your going to need forged internals.

500hp is posible with stock internals... just with a agressive tune...

Well i would rather not risk it.... Should i just get all the supporting mods first with a decent rebuild kit ( not from ebay). And wait to add forged internals, pulling the motor isnt as bad as some people think.... Or should i just go ahead and get the forged internals?

My opinion, build around the motor (supporting mods) then when you have all that in place build the motor. I say this because I never have enough money to fork out for everything at one time and this way you can enjoy building your car instead of putting a ton of money in motor work just to not be able to run it like it's meant to be run until you save up even more money.

I think i will do just that. Like many I am a poor college student, cars arnt cheap. Thinking i should just go with OEM everything then? Except ARP.
