Best 420a Shop?

well guys, the engine is stripped to its bare block. The piston rings are GONE, just like I thought. My question is, who is the Master Machine Shop for the 420a? I've found some really goot 4G63 ones, but none for the 420a. I don't want someone not familier with my head, doing head work. Doug! Any suggestions? (Doug knows all things)

Isn't Hahnracecraft into the 420a motor? My friend with a 96 RS got most of his turbo set-up parts from them. He even got some of his N/T parts from them.

Hahn Racecraft is in Illinois. Not that bad of a drive IMO.

Howell Automotive does Performance 420a engines. $2400 for a 2.2 stroker with your core. That would be pretty badass.

There is one shop in Miami that is dedicated to the 420a engine....Try to see if there are any neon shops in your area that work on the 420a.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear.... I need a MACHINE SHOP.

I don't like Howell...I've had bad experience with them. But their not a machine shop anyway. I'm looking for someone who ports and polishes 420a heads. I want a shop who is familier with that head, as every head is different to port. I already took my block to the local shop, just cause I need it done now.

I had ERT build me about the meanest head on any 2GNT out there. They sublet it to Eddy Fierro here in Phoenix for the portwork, as their porting guy bailed on them at the time. They can do porting again, but you can see some really cool pictures (of my head ) at Fierro Racing . I highly recommend either shop to you.

hahn is in illinois? why did i think they were in florida?...

well i got some parts from ERT, but ya they are really into the 420a and the avenger v6. they dont have a show room and arent allowed to for zoning reasons. so you cant go check them out, ive tried.
