Bent the shifter arm on my M/T shifter cables

Okay so long story short I got one of the cable bearings stuck and I got frustrated and started to beat the piss out of it and bent the "arm" on the shifter cable. I bent it back as best as I could but I'm wondering if it's too late.

Suggestions? If I have to buy a new shifter cable assembly then I will.

We don't have much info to work with here. Post a picture of the "bent and unbent best as could" cable end.

I don't have pictures. I bent the arm and bent it back but obviously it's not perfectly straight. I don't think pictures will make a difference.

I just want to know if anyone has run into this problem and what they did.

i put a tiny bit of neverseeze on them when i install them. Them frozen on sucks. if u bent it back n it goes threw the gears fine...then leave it alone n enjoy the car

Yeah I put some grease on the one and it got stuck and I got pissed off and started to beat the piss out of it. Oh well. I'll see what happens. I might just get new ones for peace of mind. Thanks again.
