bent engine rod

How did you exactly bend a rod exactly if you don't mind me asking?

Im guessing it has something to do with the turbo upgrade and no tuning solution, because it certainly wasn't the power output.

Knock sucks

It seems like he pumped to much boost into it but he ant telling us any thing really to help him. If he bent a rod USUALLY it means it hit something like a vapor lock or water lock. OR unless he put to much boost to it and it "crushed the rod" at its weakest point. But if it did hit something as in only the head, it would mean it probably has a bad rod bearing causing to much play and hitting the head or valves maybe even. If it has a bad rod bearing or not one at all, like I have seen, then you need a crank too and need to pull the motor any way in which you might as well rebuild the motor completely now......... Tell us how you did this exactly or if you heard knocking or any thing so we can help you.

I did almost the same thing except i broke the rod, sent the cap through the front of the block and put a massive hole in the back of the block with the rod. Im pretty sure i over boosted my engine. Thank god it was a stock 7 bolt. Did I mention I had ARP rods and mains.

i got the car with a bent rod i dont know what happend but he also had a galant that went with the car should i just engine swap

Just do a full rebuild. Take the block and crank to a machine shop to be checked out first to verify everything is good. If it is, get pistons that are the next size up from the current bore and start completely fresh along with better rods.
