I like the old rims, but like the addition of the thumbnail spoiler.

recirculate

Old valve cover color flows more with everything in the engine bay, new one is nice and blingy but unless the rest of the engine bay is clean and blingy also, it looks out of place

recirculate

I personally would not T the MBC from the BOV line. please search here on why it may not be the most optimal setup

recirculate

Your spark plug wire cover is way messed up, it owuld do more justice just leaving it off. it looks like you are trying to make it look nice, and having that cracked cover is a step backwards than forward.

recirculate

Lower heatshield adds a nice touch to clean engine bay, they're cheap and shoudl help what you are trying to achieve.

recirculate

Other than that, nice car, i really like white 2ga talon with thumbnail and 2gb front convo.

the way the old wheels were, you saw all kinds of scratches, bends in the lips, pits in the paint, they just werent very nice at all.

the MBC is no longer t'd in with the BOV.

if I take off the spark plug wire cover, then the wires get all crazy and go all over the place. I just need to get a new one to be honest.

I'll check out what a lower heatshield looks like and see what I can do

thanks for the tips man!

I laughed my butt off reading this. I'm not sure, but I believe he wants you to recirculate.

Agreed. :thumb:

This site needs to get over recirculating woes... If his car runs fine let him be. I went 11.5 with my FWD on tial bov with a 2g maf. The car ran great.

So because you went 11.5, and his car "runs fine"...we should stop recommending for him and anyone else that reads this in the future to do the correct thing...which is to recirculate his BOV?

Guess we might as well just delete 3/4 of the useful threads on this site then huh?

Please recirculate your lacking a whole three and a half inch piece of tubing for god sakes. And the comment on the "atmospheric dumping" haters I have an type rfl thing.... My brother DEF has a recirculated type rfl on his sti. You do have a choice to recirculate it i think he paid 59 bucks for the turbo XS official recirculation fitting for type RICEY FREAKING LOSER. The BOV sound infatuation is childish and honda ricer @ best. I personally could give two craps if it goes woosh woosh. I much prefer my symphony of cylinders and the woosh of my turbo. The catch can is mounted wrong. You are totally bypassing the purpose of even having the thing. There are only a few drops of oil in it because its all being drawn back. I thought the DRAIN valve being on the bottom would be a dead give away but maybe not... I would like the rims better if you car was not white but to each their own as they say. Over all the car does look better just do you maintenance and fix the stupid stuff and you will be just fine. The guys were being kind of hard on you dont be discouraged by that we just want your car to preform like it should thats all. There is no point to do the work if its wrong. It only causes probs down the road.

For those that want the sound of a venting bov with a moderate loss in performance, look into a 50/50 bov. It's just what it sounds like, vents half, recirculates the other.

Personally, I choose to recirculate, but if it's working for him, let him go ;)

car looks good fabian i wanna stop by and see it in person some time me you and arman need to get together here shortly some night

im def there man i might come by tomorrow actually well today technically LOL

def looks amazing in person man good work oh and your bov situation leave it how you want it dude to each his own and a car is your property to customize how you want and induvidulize it if you want it vented then vent the shit out of it LOL if other people want to recirc then let them recirc and if people want you to recirc it then tell them to come over to your house or work and fix your car for you LOL

Vented bov...really?

The blow-off valve is mounted after the mass air meter. So in order for air to pass through the blowoff valve, the air must first flow past the mass air meter. That means when the blow-off valve opens, the mass air meter is reading air that the engine never ingests. You can liken this to a large vacuum leak between shifts, and the result is a dangerously rich mixture. When people vent their blow-off valves to the atmosphere without any engine management to correct the condition, they get backfires between shifts, they wash the cylinder walls with fuel, they foul their injectors, and they can seriously damage the vehicle’s emissions system.

not the best pics, but I figured I'd just post em anyways. taken with my buddy's cell phone.
