Is it possible to buy a new bcs? I searched online but couldn't find anything. I don't think mines working. Hooked up an autometer boost gauge and it's reading 7psi which is waste gate pressure. This would explain my slow boost problem meaning its not actually slow boost but it's only going to 7. I was going by the stock one which would hit 7psi at 2800 and it would rise to 12 slowly. The aftermarket one was pegged at 7. So I'm guessing my bcs isn't raising boost anymore so I'm just gonna buy another one

7 psi is stock boost for a 1g if I'm not mstake. The stock boost gauge is useless, it's an estimate based on airflow. Not actual pressure. If your having slow spool problems it could be many things. I would unhook the wastegate actuator and check to see that the flapper swings normally. Then just hook the boost source straight to the wategate without a BCS.

As for where to get one? Your best bet would be the scrap yard. There is nearly zero market for a stock boost control solenoid so most companies aren't going to waste their time selling it.

I know. I'm saying it has the bcs connected and it's only at 7. It should be 11 with the bcs connected. And I meant I thought it was slow spooling to 11 but it's not. It's just only going to 7 but fast, so it's fine. I'm just concerned about replacing the bcs right now because I'm sure this is the problem since apparently it's not raising the boost to the appropriate level and it's at waste gate pressure now

You might as well scrap the bcs and buy a mbc. You can purchase one for around 40$. Plus, if you ever want to upgrade, your going to need it anyway. Just a suggestion

I remember reading that the Fuel Pressure Solenoid is the same, I plugged one in just to check and it did plug in. Didn't get around to starting and testing it out tho.

I can run an mbc without a bcs? I was planning on buying an mbc tomorrow so that would be cool
