BCS / wastegate solenoid broken

In that picture, the plastic nipple that runs downward from the BCS is broken off so one tube is not connected.

Is there anyway to bypass the BCS? I want to keep the car stock and not buy a MBC. I also do not have an aftermarket boost gauge

Run a single line from the boost source to the wastegate nipple.

ha snow beat me to it. i was gonna say you should be able to bypass the BCS by just connecting a hose from the pressure nipple from the turbo directly to the nipple on the wastegate actuator. I think this will only have a very minimal affect on boost if any.

Remove it.

You'll just leave the BCS hanging (plugged in, but no vacuum lines to it). Then have one line run from the wastegate nipple to the boost source.

No. Just yank them out. The only vacuum line you need in there related to the BCS is the one from the boost source to the wastegate. Anything that is currently connected to either of those sources and/or the BCS itself can be removed.

Yes it would be the same thing.

Yep! Either that, or using a source on the compressor housing or from the intake manifold.

My project cars all hacked up and doesn't have a BCS at all. Does it matter if the BCS is plugged in at all with how the car will run or just throw a CEL?

just leave it plugged in and tuck it away. and do what everyone else has said also.
