Battery Light 2g Please Help

I just got my 1st dsm In August and when i put the key in the on position the battery light pops up, is that bad. Also sometimes the lights do dim, but one thing I do know is that I put in a new alternator and the lights still dim and the light is still on. Wut the hell duz it mean.

It means that the battery bulb in your cluster works.

If the light is not on with the car running, don't worry about it.

This is your first post so I'm going to let you know a couple things that may have been overlooked when you made an account and posted this topic.

As far as your problem...
When you place what in the On Position?
You may want to check your battery to see if it neds fluids put in it (batteries that take water), or possibly tell us does your lights dim and everything seem like it's overworking itself?

Have your alternator checked or maybe check your belts?

As previously said, it's fine. Matter of fact, I think pretty much any car out there does this.
