I replaced my alternator 6months ago when I got the dash lights come up on me.
3 Months later my car keep dieing after a weekend of not running. Then on really cold nights it would be dead the next morning.
After a While I started to see excessive corrosive build ups around the metal tie down the holds the battery. It got really bad and my car would not hold a charge.
I replaced the battery and my car was great for 2 weeks. This weekend I did not drive it and it was dead this morning.
I checked and the brand new battery was covered in white corrosive residue.
Is this a sign of overcharging?
