The car is a '97 5sp. GSX with just an air filter. The car drove just fine two days ago. Today we go to start it... It turns over very very slowly and while it is trying to start the oil light is on and the battery light is very dimly lit. All of the fluids are fine. It sounds like the battery, but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Did you try jump starting it? Go jump it, run it around for an hour or two to let the altternator charge the battery up then park it. Grab a multimeter and check the battery voltage. I'm willing to bet it's your alternator going out and not charging up the battery, but it could just be the battery won't hold a charge. You could also just yank the battery and take it to your local shop and have them test it for all of about $10.

Most likely is the battery. At least it's giving you some warning that it's almost dead. With the weather getting colder, expect a bunch of dead battery threads to start popping up.
