Okay so I bought this car a couple weeks ago from a guy.

it's a 1992 awd tsi talon, holset hx-35 and more.

the problem is that the car OFF the battery will sit of 11.7v's.. Turn it to the acc position headlights and dashlights turn on and the battery starts to drop voltage.

Turn the car on and it just holds it's voltage at 11.1v's alternator is FINE. tested it on another car.

This car has the jay relocating kit done, no power steering, lc-1, vpc and some other goodies?

Any idea where I should start looking.

Also he cut and deleted the

bcs, maf, isc, fiav, and silenod valve plugs? could these be grounding out?

I've checked all grounds, and i've put 3 different batterys in and it's the same thing!.. all 3 dumbie lights are on aswell. the low coolant, battery and e-brake.

Check all the cables and all the connections to see if there is any corrosion. also check to see if there is dirt or grime or grease around the connection from the battery to the alternator. Also check the wires and see if there tore up anywhere or if any of the wire is showing because the current may be jumping to ground. Also if the connections are filthy this will cause high resistance and it may not be producing what it should. Just to be sure id take the car to an autozone or something and have them test your alternator.
