My battery is draining itself within 2-3 days of sitting. is there anything on these cars that is pretty common to go bad and pull current?

The battery is a red top pulled from my old car. so i know the battery is good.

The door locks are a known flaw? which component in particular is the failure point?

my lock system is hooked up to a viper system... which i kind of have my worries about.

it seems as though it would have to be a fairly large current draw to drain a 1000 CA battery in as little as 2 days.. no?

I remember in a 1995 ecplise GST I worked on had a massive draw on the battery that would drain within 1-2 days of sitting. Turns out it was a relay underneath the passenger side dash it was a goldish colored relay similar to the color of the DSM ECU case, sorry I dont remember the part number to the relay or what it did exactly but when I replaced it, the problem was eliminated. Do you ever hear a buzzing sound with the key in the on position?

ok, ill run the test and see what i find. i totally forgot about doing a test for where the draw is... i feel stupid LOL
