Basic Tune

Mods was just updated in profile and as topic says I'm looking for a basic tune...

Shouldn't I be able to start at 0 across the board on the AFC being that I have the chip?

Would a 11.5 afr be a good goal to shoot for?

Yes, provided the chip is set for your brand and size of injector, setting the SAFC at zero will target your AFR at the stock value of 9.5:1. 11.5:1 is "doable" on a DSM running pump, but I would start a little richer at the beginning and watch your knock. Most DSM's like to run in the neighborhood of 11:1.

i would say somewhere between 10.8:1 - 11.2:1 is what i would shoot for. my car likes 10.8:1 on pump to run the timming that i like. but every car is different.

I PLAN to run ony pump but I have a feeling that I'll try race gas at some point...
