Basic Tunning

IM not to knoledgeable when it comes to tuning with the afc. But the thing is I feel like a jackass cuz im driving around a 12 sec talon... clueless to know the exact spesifics of the carbecuse I had ams tune it for me. I really want to know how to tune on my own, becuase Im afriad I will F**K somthin up. Can someone just start me with backround of basic tunning, and timing and retivly how it all goes togather with the ecu. I understand the obviously u add fuel % as your boost pressure increases bases on your injector sizing and fuel set up. Also Your timming will advance as well as boost pressure and fuel increases?? Its just been making me mad. ANd the thing that really gets me going is on my afc I hitt 200 counts of knock before I put it away for the winter, but I had not messed with any timing I meesed with the boost pressure once and it was hiting 23 but I brought it back down to 19 and its still knocking hard only under load. Cam angle sensor...need to retard it maybe?? idk Sorry for throughing so much random Sh*t into a forum as possible just some little input would be great

Slowdown!! when you ask questions about a certain car post all the info you have on that vehicle first, all of its mods any logs you have! Most of the guys on here i have seen can perform magic with their answers but they are not Houdini, You put in the right info!!!! you get the right info back!
I have surfed these forums for a while now, There are people you can believe and there are people that should not even answer some posts! You will be able to decided that with the answers. BUT PUNCH THE RIGHT INFO IN FIRST, you are on a computer what happens if you give it the wrong info to it (you get crap back or it freezers on you) everyone on here will help, but make it easy for us! (spell check!)

Don't worry about the knock reading on your S-AFC II, it's not reliable.

Thats exactly what I was looking for , thanks a lot. One more thing what does HZ stand for when there talking about the air meter and ms in fuel

Our karman sensors relay information to the ECU in hertz (HZ, waves per second).
ms in fuel?
