I just got everything swapped over to my auto talon from my 5 speed car. I'm not finding much information on this. I'm using all the same sensors off my other car except the coil pack/transistor and cam angle sensor. The other car was a 1990. I'm getting code 0025 on link, and it isn't running right at all.

That's what i dont understand. Everything was running great before i swapped it. Its only been 2 weeks.

so what, the maf has gone tits up on ya, get a new one, OR, go to radio shack and spend 3 bucks on a potentiometer and splice it into the barometric pressure sensor circut (find the wire at the ecu) and adjust the signal and hope for the best. maybe you can trade mass air flow sensors with a friend for a test experiment and see if his know working maf does any magic on your car. if it were me, id get a new air flow meter

okay ill try to find another 3g maf. I think I have an old 1g maf laying around. I'll see what it does.

I'm just worried it is something to do with the cars wiring. Since it was doing great in my other car

Just as likely a problem with the wiring harness as the MAF at this point. Check to make sure the wires aren't broken or grounded with your multimeter from the MAF connector to the ECU.

The wiring harnesses are getting pretty old and it doesn't take much to break the insulation or wire at this point.

If you had a datalogger it would help you know if it's a wire, sensor, or ECU by the readings.

I have dsmlink what do i need to look for?

Okay I fixed it. I double checked the wires I swapped, and one of them was wrong. So I fixed the Check engine. I also didn't realize my ecu had reset to default fuel and timing so it was running like crap with the wrong injector settings. I got a decent tune going on 93. I usually run e85, but I haven't been to fill my drum in a while. Thanks for the response. I'm just glad it was that simple.
