2G injector circuit malfunction

i have a problem here with my 2g, its not really a problem that does anything though. basically my check engine always comes up with an injector circuit malfunction on cylinder 2. i clear the code and it keeps coming back. it doesnt do anything to my car it runs just as strong. i unclipped the injector plugs while the car was on and they are all working. does anyone have any ideas on what it might be

I am having the same code pop up on my brothers 96 GST. The injector seems to be working just fine, but has the code. I'm not sure what the problem is yet, but i will most likely be looking into it further in the near future. Ill let you know if i find anything out. Has anyone else had this problem or found the solution?

I would check the resistance of all 4 injectors. If #2 shows higher or lower resistence (ohms) than the other 3, you have a bad #2 injector.
Or, swap the #2 injector with another one, & clear the code. If the light comes back on,showing a inj.circuit malfunction on the cyl. where that injector was moved to,(the problem followed the injector to the new location), you definately have a bad injector.

yea i dont know, i had the code pop up on my stock 450s than i changed them out to my 650s and the code came back on the same injector. its werid. and like i said i unclipped them when the car was on and i can tell that they are working.

do i need to change out the resitor pack or just clean it, it went away today after i washed it, guess my car liked me. than it came back on anyone else have an idea on what i can try thaks
