Well guys second time at the track and first time with the new setup.
This was my best time slip:barf:
[email protected] weighing in at 3095lbs
R/T .147
60 2.200
330 6.163
1/8 9.308
MPH 82.05
1000 11.921

Yeah I know the 60' is really bad. I was launching at 5250 building ~6-7psi and hitting full boost(20.4psi) right after slipping the clutch so I must have been loosing traction. My clutch assembly is also shot because the clutch was not full disengaging so I could not shift fast or nlts. I was at least hoping to pull a 13 second. Here's a vid of my second run of the day [email protected].

Not terrible for first time out with that set-up, but there's alot more in it. Your 60ft should be around a 1.7 or 1.8. Practice makes perfect.
Just wondering why you're running such low boost on the holset?

Looking at your trap speed your car is definitely a solid mid 13 quarter mile DSM if you could get your 60ft time down around a 1.8.
This is a buddies timeslip who drives a 1g with a similar trap speed, you just need to get out of the hole faster!

Yeah I think I should have tried to launch normal and see what my 60' would have been. What makes me made is my dad showed me one of his time slips when his srt-4 was stock and he pulled off a 1.35 60'. I have it at a lower boost right now because I have not had time to tune it and I totally forgot about the event so I just left it at 20.4. I also didn't want to push my composite head gasket as 32 psi started pushing coolant on my last one.

Nice. Yeah I really should be getting a better 60'. I wanted to log to see what was going on when launching but my data logger was dead and I lost the charger:ohdamn: What do you guys do about tire pressure on street tires when you go to the track and does it matter?

Your going to have to tune it and turn the boost up, cause that turbo isn't making much power at that boost level. Just because your running a composite head gasket doesn't mean your limited to low boost. I for one am running 32 psi on a much larger turbo with a stock composite gasket, it's all in the tune.

I'll probably turn it up if I fix my clutch problem and decide to take it to the track again. Yeah your right it is in the tune. I was knocking because I was running so rich @32 psi which I'm sure caused my head gasket to fail.
