I had the passenger side ball joint break free of the control while going about 60 mph, shredding my passenger side tire, as well as, pulling out my passenger side axle. Needless to say it was a interesting experience. My question is what all is going to need replaced? I know the obvious, such as a new control arm (make that 2 don't want this to happen again on the driver side) a new axle and new tires; but I want to make sure I'm not overlooking something else that may have been damaged aside from the previously stated items.

Just went through the same issue totaly sucked i had to do driveshaft lower control arm with balljoint rim and tire luckly for me the shock shaft tierod or anything else wasnt bent but my case the driveshaft was stuck in the hub assembly and had to as well replace that (a good idea anyway as im sure slidding along like it does is alot of stress on the bearing and studs)

Also check the splines on the inside of the transmission or case for cracks. The same thing happened to me and my transmission case cracked.
