2G 97 GST upper ball joint

AHHHHH I need help. I just bought a 97 Eclipse GS-T for $850. The only thing wrong with it is the upper balljoint is messed up and i dont know how to take it off. HEEEEEELPP!!!!!!! The Ball joint is connected to the body of the car to the control arm.

Noooo its for a GST... its not like that at all. its connected to the body of the car.

I just posted pictures of the ball joint i have to replace. its like... right behind the fender.

That upper control arm unbolts from the car. 2 bolts hold it in place on the left and right side of the coil spring . Then follow the process from link i sent.

First get the tire out of your way.

mine looks nothing like the one you have, there is no bolts to remove connected to the body of the car. On my Gst its reversed....

Cool cool.. if you have questions in the future let me know... I'm pretty patient with explaining things. I also have built extreme budget to fully built. And 4g63 swaps. My first gst went 11.6 on slicks at 5280 elevation. Nothing but pump, fpr and eBay 2600lb clutch. Haha. Wastegate sealed shut. Stock 440 cc injectors. No tune haha. Lasted 3 weeks then blew to pieces. Many will be non believers haha whatever... I can also honestly say my awd fp red has not ran 11.6 haha lame.
