Ok well I am pretty sure I messed up big time, I rebuilt my motor 2g 7bolt , I installed the balance delete kit. I started and the motor ran great for 10 mins or so . Then on a very light rev the motor died and the oil pump locked up. I kept my eye on my oil pressure and coolant the whole time. The oil pressure was pretty high, close to the H the whole time. After pulling the oil pump cover off the stubby shaft was seized to the oil pump cover. I am assuming the high oil pressure killed the stubby oil pump shaft. I did not do the oil filter housing port job . IS that my cause of the stubby delete shaft seizeing or do I have other problems.

A good friend of mine had this happen to him at the drag strip. his was a 6 bolt 1G however.
but here is the question did you actually torque to spec the oil pump stubby shaft? and how was the new bearings installed in the now hollow ballance shaft oiling galleys.
lastly were the match marks lined up on both clogs of the oil pump?

I used the junk ebay one. I though they were ok to use that explains it all. Oil will have no way of getting to the shaft unless its groved :ohdamn: well Guess I learned my last ebay china junk parts lesson for the last time LOL . Being poor sucks I can never afford the good stuff.. Bad thing is we just built 2 motors and used the same balance delete in each motor. One is already in the car the other is still on the stand. Guess I am pulling the junk one out and let my buddy know about the one in his car

THANKS A TON guys !!! This site is the most helpful site I have even been on. I will post up some pics asap so this may never happen to any other dsmer

A lot of ebay parts are good, but a good rule of thumb to abide by. If it's crucial or a moving part, STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!!

Hell, I didnt even buy a BSE for my build.. Well I did like 4 years ago and just recently started to build the motor and realized it was the cheapo one. But, what I did was just hack the balance shaft off and welded the hole shut.. If you dont have access to a welder you could always tap it and put a bolt in it.. I know a couple guys that have used this method and its worked flawless..
