There is already a thread on this. They build cars like this all the time. The shop is supposed to have some hook up with a Ford Cosworths F1 team, those rods are proto types from a 2016 Cosworth forced inducted F1 research motor. I don't know if this is true but seeing their other builds I would not be surprised even a little bit.

Anyone know if there is any truth about F1 possibly lifting the forced induction ban that started back in the 80s?

That motor's been covered. And Brent Rau's car makes almost as much power, with half that cost. They just have money to burn.

If you look through the entire thread on evoM, you will soon realize that it is in fact real. That guy has so much custom engineering into that motor that it really is questionable whether or not you could consider it as a 4g63 anymore or not. Its still great for the aftermarket though.

Yes. They are talking about allowing turbo'd IL4

They should compare shep's, rau's and ams's motor to theirs so they can see that it doesn't take much for these motors to go beyond the 1000hp mark

I'm sure that motor probably has the reliability equivalent to a stocker though. None the less I'd rather have the cash to rebuild the motor a few times over and work on all other aspects of the car then spend 100k in a motor alone. It'd be sick if they used that motor in the 2013 F1.

LOl ya you guys realize that Brent Rau's car made 1400 on like 86psi if i remember correctly. This car made over 1500 at just over half the boost level. Yes there is also 100+k into the car. If you've got the cash to do it why not? If you've already built a 1000+ hp motor like these guys clearly have, Then why not do something different and go all out with something thats never been tried

IDK why were even comparing the cars there two totally different things haha i just posted this thread because someone posted it on our local website hear and i thought itd be cool to share.

But while were comparing think if this car was pushing 86psi. Id be willing to put money on it at least hitting 1700 probably more. But there is no comparison hear ones a stock motor that is built to wall and back. And the other is built from part of the wall . And no id say the reliability of this car is really good most of the internals are titanium and are thicker/ lighter then any ive seen in any 4g63. There are no bearings to go bad, no HG to blow. IDK id say the things looks nuke proof.

Id still rather have brents car as at least you could find parts and not have to custom build everything. Lol I love the comments and thoughts tho. keep em coming and if anyone knows of the car(like has read up on it,seen it or something) and knows of its reliability please share.
