Bad wires or coil pack when engine bay hot?

Ok, when my engine bay gets warm/hot (from cruising at 3500rpm for 2 hours) and i go WOT as soon as it sees boost it starts stuttering really bad, but once the car sits overnight its good again. So i was wondering If the plug wires or coil pack was to blame. I checked my plugs(BPR7ES) and they looked great, all gapped at .28. Any help would be great cause i can only get wires or a coil pack this week before i go back.

Sounds like detonation due to too high of engine temps. Do you have a A/F setup and what grade fuel are you running?

Coil pack or transistor pack most likely.

My 1g did the same thing and it ended up being the CAS...it would actually shut the car off sometimes. Another car just misfired that way and ended up being the coil pack, also seen bad transistor pack do the same.

Yep, it was the transistor pack on mine. It would get hot and miss/go to 2 cylinders.

Probably, but if it's only failing when hot, then it's probably a cold joint on a solder joint. And might only show up when hot.

Was just messing with the car and i could not find the transistor pack, could someone post a picture of it. Also i don't seem to have a redline at idle anymore i have done nothing to the ecu and i got it to 7800rpm.

Yeah 7800 is the stock rev limiter.

Its right on your intake manifold to the left of the coil pack. Cant miss it. Looks like your MAF plug.

Also could someone post a list of all the cars i can get a transistor from that will work with my car, cause I'm going to pull a part and taking(buying) everyone i can find.
