bad valve cover?

Whats my options here? this seems to be a lot of oil leaking on the valve cover.. Im taking a wild guess that i dont have a baffle in there and its coming from that tiny hole..

do I plug the little holes on the inside of the valve cover, purchase a new valve cover, or possibly something else, that much oil cant be safe..

Get a new valve cover.

Pull it off and look on the underside, you will see where it's cracked.

my guess would be the gaskets under the valve cover that seal the spark plug holes.

That tiny hole is for evacuate oil from the center of valve cover and it goes in front just over the exhaust manifold. It's normal. My valvecover is oily like yours because of high crankcase pressure and oil come from all the bolts in the center or bad oil cap rubber. Take a look at that, your valvecover is surely in perfect condition.

More than likely it's your spark plug hole gaskets. If you haven't replaced the gaskets in a while buy a nice felpro valve cover gasket set for $30. I had the same problem and thought it was blowby.

It was a new gasket within the last year, the mechanic put it on.. I did have an issue with back pressure.. being that its a built motor.. but its only like 12 lbs of boost.. The dip stick was popping out, bought a new one.. I have a catch can now and a larger port on the side of the valve cover..

get a new valve cover and be done with it. Get one un-cracked and be done with it. As well as a new gasket set..

Before removing the valve cover pull the oil cap and check out the gasket on it. They get old and brittle and will leak oil into the valve cover. That doesn't look like it is leaking from the plug well gaskets. The plug wells will be almost full before it gets out on the valve cover.

probably cracked in the upper right hand side around the bolt mine was way worse but the oil collected in the same spot yours is

Most likely a crack check throughly on the bottom right side, that's where I ha a crack and my friend

I bet it's the oil cap gasket. Use TWO of the rubber gaskets, stack on top of each other, instead on just one. Fixed my leak.
