So I got tired of those little holes leaking oil over my cover and out the front onto my exhaust manifold and JB welded them shut. I had read through the 1,000 leaking valve cover posts and somewhere read it would be alright. Since I've got a pvc eliminated catch can I thought it would be fine.

I worked on the car pretty late and started it up and it runs terribly. Sputtering and lean. ISC read 120 even when I hit the throttle. Just wondering if this is contributing or not?

You are talking about the hole infront of the #1 spark plug correct? There wouldn't be any problems plugging it as it's a hole to just remove excess liquid from the VC if it accumulates there. If you don't have any leaks onto the VC then it's not an issue. If you do leak a lot onto it, then you have a problem to figure out.

You fixed the wrong hole! LOL:p If you have a leak in the valve cover plug well it's obviously going fill up with oil if you have a leak. Fix the leak, probably a cracked valve cover or an oil cap not sealing.

If you have oil on your plug wires that's probably why it's sputtering(misfiring/arcing spark).

Actually I plugged two holesROFL. Seriously though I plugged both the one inside the spark plug cover area, and then there's one on the outside same location as well. I had noticed oil coming out of that one pretty good while running. My cap is leaking a little too. Since oil was coming out of it is the cover shot?

No oil in the spark plug though. I did catch it before there was that much in there.
