So the other day I noticed my peak boost was down in the 22lb range, usually high 20's. So it prompted a boost leak test, started at the turbo inlet with mid 20's of pressure. Immediately had a good amount of air coming from the breather on the vc. Blocked off the PCv to no avail. I feared the worst but I moved on to the licp and no more leak from the vc. The problem is I have no oil in the piping or smoke. Of course I still don't know the cause of the sudden loss of boost but the turbo seals became priority. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I've been dealing with a similar issue. When I do a boost leak from the turbo Inlet I have excessive air coming from my valve cover. I rebuilt turbo, fixed all external boost leaks, and literally when it pressurizes to about 20 PSI the dip stick will blow out, and the PCV ports I plugged up will pop off as well. I know my turbo is good. My only symptom is ridiculous boost lag...not seeing full boost till almost 6,000 RPM!
