I'm thinking I have to either replace or rebuild my slave because even after bleeding the clutch fluid completely, I am having issues. Sometimes the clutch will be stiff, and then it will be so weak I cannot even get the car into gear. Also, when making left turns my clutch goes out as well, which is scary since that is a symptom of crankwalkOMG

Furthermore, when my brother was pushing the clutch in and I was under the car, the salve didn't seem very responsive and didn't move very far (maybe an inch?) Also, the whole thing was covered in oil/grease, but that could be from a number of things.

ANYWAY, now that i've bored you, does this sound like a bad slave or is it something else?

Thanks guys:thumb:

Clean the area around the boot of the slave cylinder and then take it for a drive. THen check the boot and see if there is any fluid coming out around the boot. Also check the master cylinder, looking inside the car under the clutch pedal rod. Here is a good link on how to properly bleed the clutch.

thanks, master cylinder is clean with no leaks, ill clean and test the slave tomorrow and then replace it indefinetly.

You have the same problem as i do with the clutch exept for the turnning issue. It is proly the slave cyl. mine is not responsive at all. im planning on doing mine this week sometime.
