Bad plug wires

Could bad plug wires be causing my car to have an idle surge/rough idle? I didn't really notice the idle sure until about a week ago. I just replaced the plugs, thinking it was that causing the problem. Under boost it seems to pull fine. Just curious if anyone has had this problem.

Idle rough, yes. Surge, unlikely.

It's not a big surge, maybe 200-400rpm. Could it be because of cams with a vacuum leak? My vacuum sits at about -12.

yes rough idle could be caused by it but the surge is most likely vacuum related! check your vacuum lines! vacuum problem could also cause the rough idle too!
