Bad Odor when going fast

ok guys i got a 95 GsT. and every time i get on it a little bit, i get a strong odor which im guessing is from the turbo. I've heard that is normal but wanted to ask you guys about it. luckily its not to bad right now cause its winter, but in the summer with the windows down its really annoying, so have you guys heard about this, any ideas what it is

- You ran over an animal and its guts are still burning off your car
- There's a plastic bag that's burning off your exhaust

Seriously, it can really be anything. You need to tell us what it smells like so we can help you out.

Assume you're running a stock exhaust you're too rich other than that if you're running a test pipe or an extreme high flow cat it will let off some bad odor off.

i havent drove it in a couple days but im pretty suree its smells like excessive gasoline. and yes i do have a stock exhaust

Possibly a small exhaust leak as well. With the windows down in the summer its probably sucking it up around from under the car somewhere. My biggest complaint when running dumps on my old fox. Otherwise, how could you smell it if its exiting at the very rear of the car?

15psi it is possible to still be able to smell the exhaust fumes from a gutted exhaust. When i had my previous gst i smelled the odor almost everywhere i went and i had 0 exhaust leaks.

My friends gst and my gsx both make a weird smell. But only after going WOT for a good pull. After that I can smell a weird smell, I'm not sure if it is burning smell, or a rubbing smell. I have started to think it might be due to my tires rubbing somewhere. Does this sound similar to the problem you are having?

yeahh but im sure its not the tires. it smells like something burning maybe oil. i dont know i guess ill have a shop check it out

I know this is considered spam, but this made me laugh so hard for like 5 minutes . Dunno why.

Anyway,

yeah my car used to, or still does it sometimes. Once I get my wideband installed this weekend I should be able to see how rich I'm actually running. Your problem sounds very similar to mine. Except I bog out like crazy when I'm at WOT.
