Hey guys, I just got my freshly built motor back in my GS-T and it has a bad missfire. It is throwing no codes (I have been using my logger w/MMCD). It doesn't missfire in 1st gear, but 2nd and beyond I can't seem to accelerate and it shakes bad, I think it really only does it when I get into boost, but it does shake a bit while idling (still have my balance shafts in). My timing advance is around 8-10 degrees at 750 RPMs (I can't get it down any lower, the CAS is fully retarded). My mods are:

Wiseco 8.3:1 CR Pistons
Manley Rods
BPR6ES plugs gapped at .032" I believe (they came pre-gapped)
NGK plug wires
Wastegate boost pressures on stock 14b

I think my issues are the plugs, do I need to move to a different one since I upped the CR just a tad? I will try to close the plug gaps to .028". Also will the TPS have any effect on this? It was sitting around 8% at idle, which I believe it should be around 10% on a 1g. I haven't had time to change it yet. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Put a vacuume gague on it.
watch the needle on the gauge, does it vibrate? or is it steady?

Just as a precaution I would go back and re-check the gap on your plugs. They usually come pretty close in the box, but I always check before I put new ones in and every so often I'll have to adjust a few of them.

Put a vacuum gauge on it, it was right around 17-18 in. hg. A little low, I did a BLT before this, but couldn't find any leaks, I'll do another one though and replace the J-pipe gasket as I was only able to use RTV on it since my "complete" gasket kit didn't include it, nor a bunch of other gaskets. I re-gapped the plugs to .028", and took it down the road a short ways with no missfires. Hopefully it doesn't come back.
