Whats up..I think I've narrowed the reason I am on clutch number 3 in les than 1000 miles down to the master or slave..for a detailed explanation of the problem check my other thread:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...utch-issue-stuck-between-rock-hard-place.html

Both were supposedly brand new when I got the car..and I did a visual inspection of both off the car and thought they looked good, and neither are leaking at all. I've noticed even if the pedal is adjusted all the way in, the slave can not be pushed in by hand at all. I adjusted it all the way the other direction to make sure I didn't misunderstand the video, and same thing. What do yall think?

Under most circumstances I would, but after three clutches and dropping that tranny 3 times thi past two weeks, as well as other unforseen expenses, my budget is damn near dried up. Would rather not buy both if only one was bad, especially after visually checking both and they both looked new.

As do I, and if you read everything in my other post I linked to, (which is a lot to read LOL), I'm pretty sure its not drivetrain related.

Just replaced the master...going for a test drive now.

look up the how to adjust clutch properly see if the slave can be pushed in to be sure its able to adjust its self. I just put a clutch in and put in new slave master and a SS master line to be safe myself.

Again, if you were to read my other thread I have tried properly adjusting it, and what I was saying in this post is that no matter where the master cylinder rod was adjusted to at the pedal, the slave couldnt be pushed in by hand. However I (so far, fingers crossed LOL think I fixed the problem. I replaced the slave, (not master, I said master a few posts ago but I meant slave), and it so far is holding up just fine.

was the line properly bled? the slave sometimes traps air at the very end inside the cylinder itself that if you dont push in the piston on the slave just before you close the bleeder it'll get trapped in there.

I didnt do that with the last slave when it was still on the car, and while I was still having issues, but Im pretty sure there still wasnt any air in the system...could be wrong though. I did do that with this new one I put on though, I figured since it was brand new there'd be air in there and there was LOL.

Side note, still cant push the slave in by hand regardless of the pedal adjustment position, but where I have it set to right now I can push it a LITTLE bit..like it moves a quarter or maybe a half an inch if that. If I adjust it a little more in either direction, it don't move at all. Like I said though, seems like I fixed the problem so far.

Earlier today, it started slipping so bad on my way to my sisters for dinner only 10 miles after I left my house, I turned around cause I knew it would get worse...

Made it 2 miles away from my house, and it was as if my clutch was 100% GONE. I had it in first, RPM's at like 1500, foot off the clutch (for a moment only), and was slowly rolling backwards.

New question, if my clutch slipped a decent amount of times, but every time it slipped I immediately let off the gas and it only jumped a few hundred RPMs for a few seconds, do you think as long as I fixed what was causing the issue that the clutch itself will be ok? Or do you think its glazed over and going to be trash here soon? Never once did I see any smoke or smell any burnt clutch smell at all.

WOW man thats crazy iv never seen someone have a clutch slip like that when properly adjusted and bled. I wonder why you still cant move the slave much i just re adjusted my clutch today and i can push the slave in like nothing and no slip and engagement is awesome.
