I just recently installed an UICP and after the mod, the car runs like shit, it backfires, sounds like a machine gun when under boost. I have checked for bosot leacks tighten all hoses even went back to the stock UICP to make sure the new GReddy wasn't leaking and did the same. I got a CEL and i had two codes, i don't remember the exact numbers but it read something like, manifold pressure/baro something, and the other one "air intake temp..." I cleared them and i haven't gotten them back. Is not a leack, i also ran some tests with a boost leak tester and nothing. So im guessing the MAP sensor could be bad? I took it out and it had some oil, guess coming from the turbo. Any have had a bad MAP sensor? Thanks

Yeah it is plugged, i checked all connections, i even unplugged it and plugged it to see if it made a difference. Can you run the car without the mdp sensor? Someone told you could and it wouldn't make a difference but i'm not so convinced.
