great falls,
Montana
so trying to help my friend get his new build running. been trying to start it for about a week now. motor is a new build with ecmlink v3. precision 1200s, fp red, walbro pump, fuel lab filter, and aero regulator. we have spark, we have dead on timing, have compression, and have 43.5 psi on the regulator gauge so we got fuel. couldnt figure out why the damn thing wouldnt start. just cranked and cranked wouldnt fire even a lil bit. so today we sprayed starting fluid in the vacuum line to the intake manifold and it actually fired up for a second. is it possible that his brand new precision injectors are bad? we have them compensated on the laptop so thats good. and he bought them off ebay so im thinking they are bad. has anyone had this problem? we are going to put stock injectors in tomorrow and set the laptop to the stock setting and try again. just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem or there is something else we are overlooking?
