bad idle

hey i am new on here and need some help my 97 gst is running bad the mass air flow sensor went out so i bought a maf-t and had afc neo on their to begin with afc reset itself so dyno tune is gone. i have 560cc injectors 255 wally evo 3 big 16g fmic mbc. before the mass air flow sensor went out it had no problem running didn't bog out at 2000 rpm and now it does Ive searched on the forums and i can not figure this out the afc is set to 0 so i don't mess anything up i put the maf-t on the injector size i do not have a data logger so i will be bringing it to get dyno tuned here shortly after funds go up but i need it to run half way decent. any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I could understand, you're running 560cc injectors with no tune.
That would explain why your car is running like crap.

Yes. I know that is why but it is also fuel cutting at 2000rpm. What i would like to know is their anyway i can put a base tune on afc and maf-t so it will run somewhat normal. It also has a hard time getting up to speed it shakes sputters and idles at 200 rpm.

So your problems are:
Fuel cut at 2000 RPMs
200 RPM idle
Is that accurate?

Know nothing about the MAFT, or AFC for that matter, but couldn't you just run -20% across the range on the AFC to get the injectors going?

yes that is correct. -20 across the board threw black smoke and fuel cut at 1900 rpm. the boost guage (aftermarket) is fluttering.

Well at least the problem is clarified. I don't know what to tell you, my advice would be to get a stock MAF and a real tuning solution.

But that's not an appropriate response, so good luck and hopefully someone with some MAFT/AFC experience shows up.
