Ok. Things were good after rebuilding my head after my Timing Belt Scare. But now my car runs ummmmmm.................SHITTY. Every other time I start the car, it wants to stall or struggles to but eventually gets back to a normal idling range (sometimes with the help of a lil gas). Other times it will start strong and idle fine. ??????

Then when cruising in neutral at times, it will either try to shut off (oil and battery lights flash) or rev @ about 2000 rpm from a while then drop to 1000.

I did receive a CEL that happened to be from a bad IAS motor (Idle valve). Could this be causing this issue or are we looking @ something more serious? If anyone has any experience or information please let me know. After putting so much time and $$$ into the car just recently, I currently have little or no patience with this car.

PS. Engine more likely to stall with AC on, but starts right back up when it does

thanks

Make sure that your Camshaft Position Sensor is pluged in, and working properly. After I did my timing belt, I didnt snap the CPS plug in all the way and it was very hard to start and idled like shit.

Check that harness while you're at it too. Could your timing be off by just hair?

FIXED!

It turned out to be the harness from the IAS touching the egr pipe. Moved and taped wires and issue was resolved. :)
