20,000 miles ago I rebuilt my Tsi AWD and now compression is
#4 133, #3 132, #2 117, #1 140
I think the order is right (#1 is net to the TB I think)
The car runs excellent, has good power, idles great. The plugs are slightly grey/white. I never see smoke (maybe others do). I just can't figure what happened.
No leak test done yet, but I did put oil in the cylinders and came up with this:
#4 165, #3 148, #2 141, #1 180
Guess I'll tear in again
180psi on #1? WTF? 162 is standard...
Maybe the rings never seated? (sp?)
