Winnipeg,
Okay when i drive my car normally its fine...but some times when i punch her she sometimes pops at a little. I haven't put that lucas fuel injector cleaner in a long time which i think is the problem. I have straight through no cat... and a 3inch magnflow exhaust. With 2.5" piping... full exhaust system. If any of you guys can help me that would be great.

What if they're 30-32?:D I guess I should change mine?
If your running .030 to .032 gap and not haveing any misfiring problems than leave them be.
The factory specification is .028 to .031 for the turbo cars and as long as your not blowing the spark out you don't need to run smaller gaps.

Thanks for the help guys. I fixed the problem i just took out the wires and just cleaned them and put them back in. I also took out the spark plugs and cleaned them as well. Car is running great now.:thumb:

replace and gap plugs properly. check the resistance of your spark plug wires and the contacts at the coil pack. I had the same thing. There was bad corrosion on cyl#2 of my coil pack and plug wire, the cable had also developed 100 ohm more resistance when compared to the other three. the symptom was a backfire during acceleration, but was intermittent it did not happen all the time. It happened About once a week for about 30 sec. it took a few weeks to find and its been 2 years with out a problem.

Note; This was on my toyota tacoma, but its an idea.
