Back From the Junkyard, Trans. Mix up :/

Hello dsm peoples! well i finally got a transmission from the junkyard; for my 96 auto eclipse gs non turbo. it was a hassel to remove it from a 97 or 98 dodge caravan yes a van :0

haha but still the van was crashed and my step dad and his mechanic friend said this tranns is in good condition. I read on wikipidedia with a list of cars that the trans are similar.

we started comparing the two when we got home, (not taking the tranny of the eclipse yet) and they look like a perfect match just one thing theres this sensor on the eclipse tranny that the caravan doesnt have. just wondering if anyone out there can help me out ..... if that sensor is interchangeable

all the parts of the van are still at the junkyard so i can go get 'em. in the pics you can see the caravan trans at the bottom where a plug should go with 3 outlet looking thing.... its just the one on the eclipse has way more slots than the three there.
