hey im rebuilding my motor and i want to get a balance shaft elim kit but i was wonderin if this would make me more prone to crankwalk since i have a 7 bolt. i just got my crank resurfaced and balanced so i dont know if this will help or not???

ok, how many miles are on your engine? if you have over 50000 i wouldnt even worry about crankwalk. and in all honesty not as many 7 bolts crankwalk as people think, its just a lot of ignorance. and the balance shaft has nothing to do with the cause of crankwalk.

Yep ^^ as said balance shafts have nothing to do with crankwalk, unless in some way the increase in oil pressure from removing the balance shafts leads to crank walk but I dont think their related.

the engine had 124000 miles with no problems but i just got done rebuilding it from the ground up with all new parts, better ones too!!! thanks for the input!!!

ha, there is no power gain. well, not a noticable one. maybe 1 horsepower

i disagree.

its a noticeable feel, better throttle response, and spool up. a couple reputable people around here claim ~10hpw.

of course this "mod" works the same way as others, you're not gonna feel it as much on a t-25 as you would on a 16g. you're not gonna feel it as much w/ stock exhuast as you would a 3" turbo-back exhuast.
