i got a problem with the injectors stuck wide open. i dont know if that has to do anything with 6bolt swap i had done. now i cant get it to run right. with the 6bolt
swap is there anything i need to do to the injectors/fule rail/which to use(1g,2g). i got an ecmlink v2 and is there an option in the ecu to solve this problem. please help!

dose anybody have the same problem after a 6bolt swap?

I don't see any data here that describes the problem or what you have done to diagnose it.

How do you know the injectors are stuck open?[/QUOT

the shop said they were and they had a very hard time trying to tune it. the car was running rich and the air/fule is off the chart. no matter what he did he could not bring it down, even putting the car all the way lean. it still run rich. the number four cylinder was the one they said it was pumping fuel. i heard that with the 6bolt swap you need to use 2g fuel rail is that correct? what made it stuck wide open?

Sounds like time for you to find a new shop.

Any place worth their salt would have been able to track down if it was an injector problem or an electrical problem. A simple swap of the injectors to see if the problem followed the injector would clarify if it was a bad injector.

I can think of three things that would cause a injector to be stuck open. A bad injector, short in wiring to the ECU, shorted driver transistor in the ECU.

In any case the car would pretty much be running on three cylinders, sound like a lawnmower, and you could smell the fuel. That is, if the injector didn't hydrolock the cylinder.

okay, i have narrow down what might be the problem or problems....
it could of been these that i know off....

1. the ecu wire are spliced up(like that when i bought the car)
2. injector drive on ECU(very well possibility)
3. the injector it self( i call the fic and they said the injectors are normally
close/natural position. only electric current will open them up like that.)
4. or the upgrade welboro fuel pump.
5. need fuel pressure regulators? injectors are fic660's

Any ideas, or more ideas?

correct me if i am wrong.

1g injectors are pop off type.

So maybe you have a injector that needs replaced or you could also check your fuel pressure.

the fuel pressure are fine, but they are upgrade to welboro pump

Are you using the same ECU that you were before the 6-bolt swap? Who did the socketing?
Do you still have the stock injectors? Have you tried the stock chip with the stock injectors?

Could a shorted or faulty TPS be a concern? If it was stuck on "wide open", it could be telling the ecu to deliver fuel like mad.
