Axle Problem

Ok, heres the deal..... I have a 2g with a 6-bolt swap w/air cond. removed

Well heres the problem i face. The front driverside axle is rubbing against the Oil pan. im wondering normally on a 2g is the A/C mounting bracket normally where the axle bolts to the block. If so i imagine this would be the problem because the bracket would act as a spacer and give the clearance needed. Anyone???

-Without the AC compressor bracket being there, there's a gap (on the driver side) between the center axel support and the block, putting a couple washers in there to fill the gap.
