Axle help

i am trying to replace my front axels but i need help identifying what year this would have come from , this is what i can tell you about the car it started life as a 98gst but had been heavily modified awd swapped ,6 bolt swapped , among other things i may not have figured out yet.
so if anyone knows what year or model that would match this would be really helpful

That's the LF axel from a GSX (AWD), not a GST (FWD).

i kinda figured it was for a gsx but is it a 1g axel or a 2g axel , i bought a 2g axel and it wasnst even close to looking like that

Please elaborate. What is the problem?
Fws is a one piece axle. Awd axle is two pieces. The bracket and length of the intermediate shaft is different depending g on auto or manual and what year. So please show us your issue. If you are awd converted you will need that two piece awd axle for the drivers side. There is some interchangeability depending on what else was Installed. The differences in years is the ac bracket. You will need to know what you have.

i thought i kinda did elaborate i am looking to replace the drivers front axe,l that is what it looks like , the car is a 98 originally a gst that has been AWD swapped and 6 bolt swapped but i bought a gsx drivers frond and it looks nothing like that
so the question fully is which one matches that axel

Typically when you buy an axle they only give you just the axle. Not the intermediate shaft too. Is that pic from your car? If so keep that shaft and bearing and put a new axle on. Show us what you bought.

ok so i went through rockauto and bought a AWD front drivers axle and this is what they sent

They sent you a fwd axle. They are known for sending the wrong parts when it comes to fwd/awd specific parts

awesome.... but the correct part would still be a 2gAWD axle and not a 1gAWD correct ?

Yes. 2g

The pics look pretty good on rockauto. Doesn't mean they didn't screw up. Check the parts carefully.

I recently replaced that same axle on my AWD 2g. Be careful when separating the axle from the intermediate shaft, the bearing kit for the bracket is essentially discontinued at this point so replacing the bearing or seals could be troublesome if you damage them during separation.
