I just got time to mess around with my recent purchase of my 95 GST. When I bought the car it did not move. After inspection I found out that the axle was not going all they way in to the tranny. Today I pulled the axle out and it is missing the circlip to hold it in place(easy fix). I will purchase a new axle to put in the car. This axle didnt seem long enough from wheel hub to tranny. I have a few questions. The car has had a recent act2600pp and act flywheel put in. Not sure if the correct axle was put in(it is a new axle). I cant make out the #s on the sticker.

1. Im concerned about where the circlip is, any suggestions on how to get it out? Other than just draining the tranny or taking the tranny out?
2. What axles have worked best for the 2g owners on here?

Thanks in advance.:dsm:

As far as the circlip goes, you can try to use one of the telescoping magnetic tipped retrievers and probe around in there and hope you pick it up.
If it doesn't turn up, then I'd assume the worst, but who knows if those jokers didn't put the right axle in, then chances are they didn't even use the circlip....
