Neon Axle = DSM Axle?

Im looking for any links or info on what type of axles will swap into other cars aside from Eclipse/Talon's to other years. My problem is that I am trying to find out if a Dodge Neon's axle will fit my 95 GSX. I want to replace the passenger side and my friend has a new Neon axle. My guess is that none of the splines for any year match up or lengths are off by fractions of an inch.
If anyone has done this or knows if anything like that may work then I might be up a free axle.

What does a neon have in common with a gsx that makes you think it will work?

well I thought some things from the Neon were interchangable since they both share part of the chrysler/mopar family. My guess is a lot of the older stuff may have worked but I figure anything past like 92 is where things just go there seperate ways
