I find myself in a strange situation, I parted out '95 Summit AWD and I was told by several sources that it has the same transfer case as 91-96 5spDSMs. The manual confirmed that it has the same ratio (1.09:1) as 90-96 5sp DSM.. Just to be sure, I checked the actual ratio and it is 1.07:1. (like 97-99 5sp DSMs).
Since there wasn't a '97 Summit or Expo LRV, I am suspecting that this Summit had 97-99 DSM tranny/transfer case combo. But how do I confirm this?
For reference, the code on the '95 tranny is: BSV9334-MNXL
My '93 Summit has a tranny code: BPW337-NNXL
I found this thread:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dri...d-transmissions-bar-codes-serial-numbers.html
But it doesn't address these numbers...
Does anyone have any insight on this?
