Awd talon no fuel level

I no longer have fuel level it was working than a 400 mile trip half way there it quit working. I checked for power at one of the units and it has power I am going to check resistance today but was wondering if this is a common issue and if so any ideas?

It's common if you just installed a fuel pump and the float gets stuck, but breaking by itself is not common.

I did have both of them out yesterday and they didnt seem to be stuck and yes I did just install a new walboro but I checked it yesterday and the arm seemed to move freely.

Check the contacts on the float. There should be a brass? arm and a row of contacts that touch the arm as it swings. Mine didn't work for years after I did the pump and just recently I decided to open it back up and fix it. All I did was tweak the arm slightly so it made better contact with the connections. Don't move it around to much as it's a pretty fragile piece.

The arm is getting stuck on something then. Loosen the ring and turn the assembly.

The gauge is completely empty on a full tank not just a little all the way to the bottom. I will check the contacts today see if thats the issue.

I checked everything out and it seems good but my problem is what could be the issue does someone have a wiring diagram on the wires to the level sender? I would like to trace them and ensure there are no breaks.
