91 talon tsi awd boost level?

hello everyone,

i am new to the forums, due to me getting a 91 talon tsi awd next weekend. here is the list of mods so far on the car.

-K&N Intake
-HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer
-Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller
-Punishment Racing O2 housing
-Punishment Racing Downpipe
-Test Pipe
-Ported 2G Eclipse Manifold
-Custom cat back with a Hooker Aero Chamber Muffler
-Starion Front Mount Intercooler with custom 2" piping
-Straight Line Specialities Upper Intercooler Pipe
-Walboro 255lph fuel pump
-Lancer Evolution VIII shift knob
-Speed Source Shifter bushings
-Royal Purple Racing Motor Oil changed about 300 miles ago
-Royal Purple Synchromax Transmission Fluid changed 300 miles ago too
-Flushed Radiator with Redline Watter Wetter
-Accel 300+ Thundersport Spark Plug Wires
-NGK BPR7ES spark plugs
-Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit
-New Wagner Thermal Brake Rotors and Pads

i am curious as to about how much boost can i run with this setup? i was figuring maybe around 15-16, but i wanted other peoples opinion, so i dont mess something up. also with the mods on the car about how much hp do you think i will have? cuz i dont wanna pay the money to get it dyno'd.

I'd set it on no more than 15lbs til you got a logger. Then based on knock counts and timing turn the boost up a little. Something to tune with <i.e. S-AFC, MAFT> would be a good investment also, after that a set of injectors wouldn't hurt. Hit up the <a href="http://www.dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/1gturbo/">tuning guide</a> That might give you a round about idea.

ok, thanks for the input. what are some good loggers for the 91 talon awd? i was considering the 660cc injectors, r these good with my setup? do i need to change fuel rail or add a fpr, cuz im goin to get a super afc, when i get injectors. where is best and cheapest place to get 660cc injectors? also, i want to upgrade my turbo. what is a good turbo with my current setup, without the injectors and stuff, just what is on car now, but will still be able to support once i do get injectors, fpr, and afc?

I personally use the TMO logger for my laptop. If you dont have a laptop lots of people buy palms and use either the free software or the <a href="http://www.pocketlogger.com">PocketLOGGER</a>. As far as injectors go, depending on what turbo you plan on going with 660s will work and no you dont have to get a different rail to intall them. The cheapest place for them varies on injector brand and size, my friends have had good luck on ebay with PTE 680s. A fuel pressure regulator would be a good thing to go with ESP if your fuel pump is rewired. As far as turbos go any of the 16Gs should be good. I had an Evo 16G for a while and loved it. Before looking for the turbo I'd get the fuel controller (I'd go with the MAFT instead of the S-AFC they are both good products just the MAFT has a lot more advantages IMO.), regulator then injectors. After all that is done and you've had a chance to play with your logger and learn about tuning, then look into a bigger turbo, I'd say go with an Evo 16G. I ran that turbo for a while and it was great, good spool and pulled decent.

Does the car come with an after market fuel pressure regulator? 255 is awfully big for the stocker to handle.
