1G AWD system question.

So I have a 91 talon tsi, when I got it it never really did good in snow or rain and even when it was dry you could get it to cirp around corners. I didn't really think anything of it until it was on a dyno at a tuner shop and only the rear wheels where spinning. The car has been driving around just fine beside the other issues it has. I got told it is more than likely the center diff being out on it makeing it rwd. Because all of the awd system is still there. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this on a dsm? And what all I need to fix to get it back to awd.

I would confirm this condition first. The awd system has 3 differentials: two inside the transmission, and one in the rear end center pumpkin. I suppose something could be broken in the center diff such that all power goes to only one output, while the other is free, but I believe that would be very uncommon. If it were the case, the fix would start by removal, disassembly, and inspection of the transmission.
The factory service manual has a description of how to raise the vehicle wheels off the ground and spin each of the wheels by hand, while observing how the other wheels turn in response.

I've seen this before and it was a broken center diff.
