awd swap drilling spot welds

I just center punched them and drilled them with a 1/2" titanium coated bit. I ordered a spot weld cutter but got too impatient and just used the drill. It worked pretty well and I had them both off in about a half hour.

When I welded them onto the GST I just welded around inside the nice 1/2" holes I made in the brackets. Everything has survived many, many track launches so far.

yea spot weld drill bits make it SOOO much easier to cut those brackets off. Id invest in one becuase it was only 15 bucks, who knows when you may have to use it again so its handy to have =)
