I bolt a 6 bolt fidanza flywheel brand new in box for $100 not knowing where was a difference as they looked the same. Apperently the one I bought is for a 6 bolt awd...... I have a 6 bolt fwd.... Will it fit or not?

AWD is smaller, so IIRC you need an AWD starter plate to move the starter farther down.

An awd starter plate won't help anything. The actual holes in the transmission where the starter bolts are too far away. You won't be able to make this work properly.

k the reason I ask is because I looked it up on extreme psi and the part numbers are the same.....

IF you truly have an awd flywheel it will not work. The starter will be too far away to engage the flywheel.

Don't do it I made the mistake. It really does suck when u put the tranny back together go to start and all u hear is the starter whine. You get pissed because u realize u have to pull everything back apart. Make sure it's a fwd flywheel. Just my .02

Been there pita i had the wrong starter plate when i did my turbo conversio a while back when i had my fwd, no fun pulling the transmission off.
