AWD Downpipe manual cutout?

I've been wanting to do this for some time now since I ran open dp the 1st time... Only problem is I don't wanna run open dp all the time just have the option to for the little extra emph at the track and would sound nice even though I'm going with a thermal r&d catback. Would it be worth welding a cutout & plate on or does a company already make 1? Do not wanna spend the money for an electronic cutout seems pointless for that kind $$!

Any help or opinions are appriciated. Car is a 98 gsx

There's a company called QTP cutouts that makes a downpipe with a cutout built into it for Evos...they might have one for DSMs too

Just looked it up and they don't...but they sell electric cutouts that you can add to your exhaust

Personally I would just remove my exhaust and run the downpipe only when I go to the track...from what I've seen when doing a cutout you gotta do it right or its just gonna hit everything on the road depending on how low your car is also...just my two cents
